SAN JOSE , Calif - ( May 7, 2007 ) -- GLOBAL VR® announced today that it has concluded the first round of consumer and operator testing of EA SPORTST NASCAR Racing . The highly anticipated driving game made its test debut in California last month at several arcade locations. The initial results indicate that GLOBAL VR has struck the "sweet-spot" of the racing genre by designing a game that both casual and advanced drivers will love.

"We were thrilled when GLOBAL VR asked us to test the game in our location. We have been looking forward to a new NASCAR game, but we had no idea of what a quantum leap forward this product would be," said one Northern California Location Manager. "Players who got to play the game while it was here had nothing but rave reviews for it. Games that traditionally do extremely well in our location were left virtually empty while NASCAR Racing was here. There were lines of people just waiting to get their turn to drive. We can't wait until it's commercially available."

Jim DeRose , GLOBAL VR's President and CEO commented, "We are very pleased with this initial feedback! We have assembled a world-class team of arcade game designers and have taken into consideration every aspect of what makes a great arcade racing experience, including cabinet design. Our goal was to develop a game that has all the thrills of competing in a NASCAR race without losing the fun that operators and players demand. To have the public confirm that GLOBAL VR is on track to release a game with the potential to become a mega-hit is extremely gratifying. Even more encouraging is the fact that we are actually ahead of the development schedule. We will be making an announcement regarding the release date for NASCAR Racing very soon."

EA SPORTST NASCAR Racing will be available in deluxe, motion-deluxe, and a very affordable standard cabinet configuration. The game cabinets will be linkable and offer players the opportunity to race against 30 different NASCAR drivers in 30 different cars. Featured tracks will include all the favorites such as Talladega , Daytona, The Brickyard, plus many more.
