Ballers Club Founder Joins GLOBAL VR-MADDEN Promotional Efforts

September 16, 2004 -- San Jose, CA --GLOBAL VR® is pleased to welcome Ballers Club Founder, Mario Theodule, to its marketing team. Mario will support the EA SPORTS™ MADDEN NFL™ FOOTBALL promotional initiatives as Madden Product Manager.

No stranger to competitive Madden tournament play, Mario started off in the year 2000 as a player himself, orchestrating tournaments around his neighborhood. Once he had conceived the idea for live tournaments, he then created the website to support the events and provide a place for players to meet and develop a sense of community.

These days, according to Theodule, the website serves as an umbrella for leagues from coast to coast and tournament franchises. The Ballers Club supports live and online tournaments monthly and boasts a dedicated following among the home gaming tournament community—a community that GLOBAL VR desires to also welcome to the competitive tournament play of EA SPORTS™ MADDEN NFL™ FOOTBALL. Theodule also hosts live, weekly radio shows on to give ballers a blow-by-blow on current tournament happenings.

Mario will bring his expertise in tournament organization to GLOBAL VR to support the MADDEN Challenge Tour—a 32-city tour wherein GLOBAL VR is joining its partner, Electronic Arts™ at selected locations—as well as assist with the upcoming $100,000 GLOBAL VR MADDEN Championship and other
EA SPORTS™ MADDEN NFL™ FOOTBALL marketing efforts.
