GLOBAL VR Releases First Green Label Title for Vortek

SAN JOSE, Calif., December 8, 2004 — GLOBAL VR® announces the release of its first green label title for the Vortek V3. In the game, Invasion Earth, a player finds himself transformed into defender of the world as he deflects fire attacks and eliminates alien spaceships while also dodging an onslaught of hurdling space debris.

Invasion Earth Producer, Jeff Shotwell says that the game is very approachable by all age levels. “The younger crowd will appreciate that the goal of the game is easily understandable and accomplishable, while the more advanced player will be challenged by the increasing levels of play difficulty.”

The Vortek V3 also plays host to the top-earning Beach Head titles and Operation Blockade. Operators can set which game(s) are playable. Product Manager, Chad Okada, had this to add about the new product offering: “The inclusion of the green label game, Invasion Earth, really rounds out the series of Vortek titles to create the ‘Platform that offers something for everyone’.”

In its first week, Invasion Earth improved Vortek earnings over Beach Head 2000 by almost 40%. Available now, operators should contact distributors for details.
