For Immediate Release - March 21, 2003, San Jose, CA - GLOBAL VR today announced its newest hardware platform, the gvrSX. The striking design of the gvrSX delivers a completely new form factor that includes a seat for players to get comfortable on while enjoying one of the many player selectable games that are available on the system. It is also the first GLOBAL VR system that comes with a joystick controller as a part of the standard unit.

"The gvrSX is a low-priced option to high priced gaming," commented Milind Bharvirkar, GLOBAL VR topper. "We now have the products which will fit any location's needs, whether it's a consideration of floor space or size of the budget."

Attractively priced, the gvrSX enjoys the unique position of being able to run highly successful software titles, like Beach Head and Beach Head 2002 in a more affordable hardware unit. GLOBAL VR has plans to introduce a suite of games for the system that will give the players the game selections they want.

In addition to all the obvious player features, operators will have the advantage of being able to install games for use on the gvrSX that had previously been successful on the GLOBAL VR Vortek platform. A schedule for delivery of game titles will be available shortly.

The gvrSx is ready for delivery and will be shipped with the successful Beach Head and Beach Head 2002 games. Customers can also request a trackball controller rather than joystick, if desired. Operators should call their local distributor or GLOBAL VR for more information.

The new gvrSX will be on display in Las Vegas at the ASI show. Attendees can see this player selectable multigame system in action at GLOBAL VR's booth, #2301.
