GLOBAL VR BEGINS PRODUCTION OF BEACHHEAD 2000 IN AN UPRIGHT CABINET
Move opens up America's #1 Earning Video Game to more locations than ever

July 1, 2002 -- San Jose, CA -- GLOBAL VR, in a striking strategic move, has begun the production of its smash coin-op hit Beachhead 2000 in an upright cabinet, announced President Milind Bharvirkar. Sleek looking and functional, the Beachhead upright features a compact cabinet style perfect for smaller venues, trackball and button controls, high quality durable hardware and attractive cabinet graphics. Beachhead 2000, previously only available in the company's VR Vortek platform, has been the number one earning video game in America for three consecutive months.

"We have always known that the content is what makes a great earning video game", said Bharvirkar. "GLOBAL VR has perfected the craft of porting home games to the coin-op market. Now we are moving to make that content available on as many different platforms as we can."

"We understand the plight of the operator," said Mike Taylor, VP Sales for Global VR. "There are just not enough good, affordable game systems available to them, which is the driving force behind our releasing Beachhead 2000 in a less expensive upright cabinet. We want to give the street operator a game that is both high earning and affordable. While the upright version of Beachhead 2000 may never reach the stellar earnings of the VR Vortek, Global VR expects that the significantly lower cost of the unit will provide a tremendous return on investment opportunity to the operator."

GLOBAL VR is the world's leading manufacturer of coin-operated video games based on home PC gaming technology. With the exploding home gaming market expected to approach $35 billion worldwide, GLOBAL VR is leveraging the massive investment in development of games expected to trigger a renaissance in the out-of-home video game industry. Global VR has development agreements with the world's leading game publishers, including Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), Activision (NASDAQ:ATVI) Infogrames (NASDAQ :IFGM) and Rage (FTSE:RGE). These agreements give Global VR the exclusive rights to create coin-op versions of popular home games such as EA SPORTS Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, Heavy Gear II and Incoming.
