GLOBAL VR CLOSES LARGEST SALE IN ITS HISTORY JILLIAN'S ENTERTAINMENT COMMITS TO VR VORTEK IN ALL OF ITS LOCATIONS

February 27, 2001 -- San Jose, CA -- Global VR today announced that it has closed a sale to Jillian's Entertainment for 50 VR Vortek 3D systems. The sale, valued at approximately $1,000,000, is the largest single sale to date for Global VR. Jillian's had previously tested the VR Vortek at one of its large Family Entertainment Centers and it proved to be their number one earning game.

"After we saw the results of our test, it became obvious that we should commit to the VR Vortek for all of our locations", said Steven Foster, Jillian's CEO. "This purchase allows us to rapidly roll out the VR Vortek into all our existing stores. We will also purchase additional units in the future for our new stores that are under development."

The VR Vortek 3D is Global VR's premier product. Featuring a boom-mounted display, VR Vortek 3D provides a totally immersive virtual reality experience while overcoming all of the problems inherent in head-mounted displays. "One of the things we love about the VR Vortek is it was designed to be non-attended," Foster continued. "Not only has it proven to be our top earning game, the operation has been low cost and hassle free."

"We are thrilled that Jillian's has made such a substantial commitment to the VR Vortek," said Milind Bharvirkar, Global VR's founder and president. "The Vortek is a proven money maker. We have seen a lot of interest from all of the large amusement operators. I believe that this is just the first of many sales of this magnitude."

Included in the purchase were GLOBAL VR's latest software games. Each VR Vortek will come with Heavy Gear and SIN from Activision, as well as their newest game, Beach Head 2000, which will debut at the upcoming ASI show in Las Vegas. "Another huge incentive for us get behind the VR Vortek was Global VR's commitment to developing new content," said Foster. "The power of the PC platform is its flexibility, and Global VR has demonstrated they intend to emphasize developing that end of their business."

Global also recently unveiled two new football simulators, Red Zone Offense and Split the Uprights. Based upon its proprietary motion sensor technology, players use a real football to either throw touchdowns or kick field goals in a virtual football stadium.
